Stop fighting food and start seeing results that actually match your effort.

I help women break the binge-restrict cycle, reduce ultra-processed food cravings and finally lose the weight in a way that you can keep off – without calorie counting, tracking macros or aiming for excessively high protein amounts.

Because if you’re here, chances are you’re not a woman who avoids putting in the effort. You’re already watching what you eat, exercising and care about your health. But for some reason, the results never seem to match the effort you’re putting in.

When your effort isn't paying off

At first it’s just frustrating. You tell yourself that you’ll cut out a few snacks this week and really focus on eating healthier. You get back into the gym. You increase your steps. You try again. But when this cycle has been going on for months, or even years, it’s beyond just about losing weight anymore.

It’s the small but incredibly emotional reminders that keep showing you you’re still stuck.

Like when you’re doing up your jeans in the morning and notice they’re still tighter than you want them to be. Or the hesitation you feel when someone wants a photo because you still don’t feel comfortable in your body.

And what makes this even harder, is that in other areas of your life – you always follow through.

You’re reliable. Capable. The woman people know will get things done.

So every time you’re faced with a reminder that you’re not where you thought you’d be by now, it makes you feel worse than a failure; it threatens your whole identity.

Most women I coach are rarely lacking effort

Most of you are already:

  • watching what you eat
  • staying active and going to the gym
  • care about your health and appearance

Which is exactly why the lack of progress feels so confusing. You can’t help but worry that if you’re putting in all this effort but not seeing the changes you’d expect, this could be your new normal just to maintain.

But because you keep going round and round in circles, you’re losing trust in your ability to actually lose the weight for good.

So you start second-guessing everything.

Are you eating too much? Not enough? Do you need to be even stricter with your diet? Should you cut out something else too?

What most weight loss programmes get wrong

Most weight loss programmes assume that the problem is a motivation issue. But the women I work with are the MOST motivated people I’ve ever met.

The real issue is usually that the approach you’ve been following isn’t easy to use long after the programme has finished.

These programmes are often relying on you:

  • constantly calorie counting (and taking you far over the 12 week limit to be in a deficit!)
  • following ridiculously rigid rules around food and eating
  • having a perfect week with no flexibility whatsoever
  • extreme levels of willpower

Which is why they only ‘work’ for a week or two, until your routine becomes busier, or you want a meal out, or you want to celebrate someone’s birthday.

Then it feels like you’ve failed and it’s all your fault for not being strong enough to say no and stick to your plan properly.

My approach is completely different

Instead of you needing to rely on having a perfect week with ridiculous levels of discpline and restriction, I focus on building a structure around food and your relationship with eating that finally supports your goals.

Inside my coaching, we work on:

  • building meals using my 5 To Thrive Method
  • reducing ultra-processed foods that keep your cravings sky high
  • improving how satiated you feel so you’re not constantly thinking about food
  • creating a natural calorie deficit without tracking everything you eat
  • building habits that you can stick to even on your busiest phases of life

My mission is never to make you and your life fit a plan, but to help you find a way of eating healthily and moving that feels easier and more aligned with your life right now.

I help you reach a point where food and weight feel easier and more peaceful, rather than something you’re constantly trying to control.

How we can work together

There are two ways we can work together depending on where you feel you’re stuck the most right now. Both programmes use the same core principles around food structure, reducing ultra-processed foods and building a sustainable approach to fat loss.

But they focus on solving different problems.

The Lean for Life Method is for women who feel like they’re doing everything right but still aren’t losing weight. We focus on identifying where your gaps are that are keeping you stuck, building a personalised fat loss strategy so your effort finally shows in your results.

Break the Binge-Restrict Cycle is for women who feel out of control around food and worry you can’t trust yourself to stop emotional eating once you start. We focus on emotional regulation and rebuilding a calm, stable relationship with food, so it no longer affects your weight too.

Lean for Life Method

The Lean for Life Method is my 12-week personalised 1:1 coaching programme, designed for women who feel like they’re doing absolutely everything, but your weight just isn’t going down.

The women who join Lean for Life usually tell me they’re:

  • eating fairly well compared to most people
  • going to the gym regularly
  • feeling like you’re putting the effort in but nothing is changing

At this stage, no amount of Googling or asking AI is going to give you the answer. What’s needed is personalised precision for long-term fat loss.

Inside Lean for Life, we work together to identify your specific habits, food patterns and behaviours that are keeping your body stuck at the same weight. Then we adjust them so you can finally lose the weight and know how to keep it off for good.

What makes Lean for Life unique

Instead of just giving you a calorie and protein goal, and general workout plan, you receive personalised guidance to:

  • identify the behaviours quietly keeping you out of a calorie deficit
  • improve meal structure using my 5 To Thrive Method
  • reduce ultra-processed foods that keep appetite dysregulated
  • navigate weekends, meals out and stressful periods of life without losing progress
  • build a routine that fits your life right now

Most clients lose 10-24 pounds over 12 weeks while also feeling calmer and more confident around food.

Break the Binge-Restrict Cycle

This 8-week group coaching programme is designed for women whose biggest struggle right now is feeling out of control around food.

Inside this small group programme, you’ll learn the exact strategies I teach clients to stabilise their relationship with food.

We focus on:

  • reducing binge-eating patterns
  • calming your cravings and removing food noise
  • building meals that genuinely satisfy you
  • managing stress and emotional triggers without relying on food
  • stopping the binge-then-restrict-then-overeat cycle

This programme provides structure, guidance and support while you rebuild trust with food.

The goal is to help you reach a place where eating feels normal and manageable again.

You’ll finally know exactly what to eat, save on average £20–30 a week on food, and regain hours back each week, all while eating meals you actually look forward to.

The Balanced Approach Podcast

This podcast is for women who want to lose weight, stop bingeing and finally feel in control around food; letting go of needing to track calories and high protein amounts, or feeling guilty after eating over your calories.

Each week, I’ll help you understand why you struggle with food, how to break free from emotional eating, and what it really takes to build habits you can keep for life.

You’ll hear honest conversations, practical strategies, and mindset shifts that make healthy living feel simple again, even if you’ve spent years stuck in the all-or-nothing cycle.

About Amy

Hi, I’m Amy and I’m a NASM qualified Personal Trainer and Weight Loss Specialist in the UK, who specialises in leading women out of dieting, binge-restrict cycles and building a sustainable (and enjoyable!) approach to fat loss.

Like many of my clients, I spent too many years trying too many different diets and tracking methods before realising that long-term fat loss comes from building a realistic and easy-to-maintain structure around nutrition; not from restricting and cutting things out.

My coaching focuses on enabling women to break away from dieting for good, enjoy a happy and peaceful relationship with eating, and finally lose the weight for good.

Let's focus on what we can add into your nutrition to enrich it, not restrict it
