Fancy a chocolate milkshake but don’t want the added sugar and flavourings? This Simple Cacao Chocolate Milkshake Recipe will satisfy your chocolate cravings in minutes, and tastes so delicious, you’ll prefer it to a processed chocolate milkshake.
Only 3 Ingredients
For this recipe, I used only 3 ingredients; 250ml of milk, one ripe banana, and one tablespoon of cacao powder for that rich chocolate-y flavour. The banana provides enough sweetness to balance out the bitter cacao, and the milk is cold enough that you won’t need to add in any ice. I also find that using ice cubes can water down the milkshake, so by using cold milk, you still keep the thickness that makes a milkshake so irresistible!
Using Purer Chocolate To Reap More Health Benefits
I personally love using the Naturya Organic Cacao Powder which is rich in copper, a source of protein and Fairtrade. Even if you are on a budget, I’d recommend investing in a quality brand of cacao powder as the flavour is quite strong and even a small pouch can last you a few months.
